Scal8R Consulting, together with State institution “Management of digitalization and public services of the city” Nur-Sultan “,” Astana Innovations “JSC in cooperation with Astana IT University organized the first-ever purely online HealthTech & Well-being hackathon, boot camp, and startup competition on November 25-29, 2020.
About 150 Kazakhstani developers, designers, healthcare professionals, and scientists came together to discuss effective ways to tackle health problems, including those related to COVID-19 during the hackathon.
Bootcamp was a one-day event that helped “to pump up” the existing and newly created startups and gathered 40+ companies from Kazakhstan.
It was held on November 28 and consisted of mentoring and educational sessions, presented by Kazakhstani and foreign experts in the startup industry.
The Startup Competition for HealthTech and Startup Well-being startups was held on November 29 and brought together leading startups from Kazakhstan, which are already changing the healthcare industry and improving the lifestyle of Kazakhstanis.
